his hammered pendant of layered squares is handmade with Argentium silver. Ordinary sterling silver is a mix of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Developed by Peter Johns in the United Kingdom, Argentium sterling silver wire replaces some of the copper with the element germanium, and, by definition, Argentium never contains less than 93% pure silver. The germanium, coupled with the silver and copper, creates an anti-oxidation silver than anybody can enjoy wearing without the fear of tarnish.
This piece hangs on a 28” Amethyst gemstone chain with an 8 mm magnetic rhinestone clasp. Combined with the Argentium “anti-tarnish silver”, this will be one of the easiest, most unique pieces of jewelry you will ever own.
